Golden Gate bridge at 5:15 a.m. San Francisco in the early A.M.

Alcatraz Island
Here is Don on our deck with San Francisco in the background.

This was our last night on the ship. One pic is of the waiters that we had at dinner each night. They were so much fun!
The group photo shows all those who sat at our table for dinner each night. We got along so well, and we still keep in touch! We looked forward to dinner each evening because we knew we would be having a great time with our new friends. The other 4 couples at the table were all from Canada. (That's us on the far right).

Here were are in Cabo. The next picture shows a close up of the rocks behind us in the 1st photo. Cool arch, huh?

Here are photos of our ship taken from the tender boat in Cabo San Lucas.

We didn't dock in Cabo, they tendered us to shore in these life boats. The water was really choppy. It was a real "E" ticket ride! (for those of you who have been to Disneyland many years ago, you will understand what that means.) They were actully bigger than they appear in this photo.

Don with Cabo in the background. The other pic is Cabo with it's white sandy beaches. After going here, we realized we had visited all 4 of the places where our sons had served missions. Jason served in Ogden, Utah; Brian, here in Cabo San Lucas; Scott in Puerto Rico; and Eric in Colombus, Ohio. We have even visited where Don served his mission in Indiana.
Some sunrise pics as we were coming into Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Gorgeous!

Cliff divers in Acapulco. (did I spell that right???) It was really awesome to watch them dive. It was so high up! No wonder they crossed themselves in front of the shrine before diving off the cliff!

Arriving in Acapulco, Mexico. That city was humongous!! Very crowded!

Here we are in Huatulco, Mexico. It was very hot there, too.

These kids were playing a huge xylophone for money.

This bird put on a show for us. It opened and closed it's wings, pranced around the limb, and then flew off. Oh, we also saw monkeys in the trees while on the train ride here in Costa Rica. And there were these huge termite mounds on the limbs of trees.....interesting!

Here's Don getting ready to get on the river boat in Costa Rica. We saw all kinds of animals like alligators, birds, racoons, iguanas, owls, etc. The weather was nice, not too hot with a nice breeze.

Here is a house in Costa Rica. We rode a train that took us back to these humble homes. The kids would hear the train coming and run out to wave at us.
We'll always remember what we did on our 32nd wedding anniversary...we went through the Panama Canal. Behind us is a cargo ship going through the canal in the other lane.

Sue in front of a fort in Cartagena, Colombia. Man, it was HOT there!!!

Here we are in Aruba. We were glad there was a nice breeze 'cause it was really warm and humid there.
Does it snow in Aruba????

Here I am in Ft. Lauderdale. We were anxious to be on our way!

Here is Don in Ft. Lauderdale right after we got to our suite. Look at the big smile!!!

Panama Canal Cruise

I am starting this blog off with photos and about our recent cruise. We had a wonderful time, and celebrated our 32nd wedding anniversary going through the Panama Canal. We took tons of photos, and I will share some here. Sue
